Indian Corn

I’m part Seminole Indian, so was my dad. I like to eat some of the food that American Indians eat.

Stuff you’ll need for this recipe:

Hot Campfire or BBQ pit or gas grill
Corn on the cob with its leaves still on
Water
Bucket or Big Cooking Pot

How to make it:

Fill a bucket or cooking pot with water
Gently open the leaves of the corn without pulling them off. Pull out the corn silk (that’s the little what hairs on the corn)

Straighten the leaves back so no one can tell you pulled out the corn silk.
Drop the corn in the bucket or water and soak for 15 minutes.
Get the corn out of the buck and shake it off a little.
Put the corn on the outside edge of your campfire or right on the grill of a BBQ grill or on the grill of a gas grill.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Turn the corn over.
Cook for 5 more minutes.
