We recognized 2nd place this month too, with a red ribbon going to Lucy Fagan!!!  Her Christmas Pie was super scrumptuous too!  

The Soul Food Market is in balmy Metro Atlanta, Georgia.  We live in Cherokee County where the "Metro Meets the Mountains".  Our 100 year drought has improved a little with some spotty thunderstorms that have been showing up several times a week since mid-June.  It didn’t help my corn at all, but the squash and pumpkins love it!!!!

We’d love for you to share your favorite salad recipes.  We give extra points to those that use produce that can be found in your garden or from local farmers.  Shop local…….the freshness is noticeable and you’re doing great things for your community!!!!
